Please note that Las Vegas Rock, Inc. hired Smith – Emery Company and ETEC Testing Laboratories, Inc. to perform the above referenced tests upon the Meta-Quartzite that is quarried at the Rainbow Quarries in Goodspings, Nevada.

The American Society for Testing and Materials International (ASTM), founded in 1898, is a not-for-profit organization that provides a global forum for the development and publication of voluntary consensus standards for materials, products, systems, and services.

Mineral Composition – Meta-Quartzite

Testing was conducted throughout the Rainbow Quarries near Goodsrpings, Nevada in 1995 to determine the consistency of the deposit of striated meta-quartzite.  Las Vegas Rock, Inc. hired Bondar Clegg, Inchcape Testing Services to perform testing of samples.  Sample lines were collected by Las Vegas Rock, Inc. together with the Federal Government (BLM) to insure the validity of the samples tested.
