Las Vegas Rock, a Nevada Corporation, was formed in May 1991 to produce and distribute unique decorative stone and related products.  The stone is quarried at The Rainbow Quarries near Goodsprings, Nevada, about thirty-two miles south of Las Vegas at the base of Mount Potosi.

The Rainbow Quarries were established in the Goodsprings Mining District in the 1930’s.  Las Vegas Rock owns and operates the 320 acres of patented quarry land in addition to over 600 more acres of approved unpatented mining claims.  The main quarry and each of the multiple satellite quarries provide stone that is of a distinctive color.   The stone produced is a striated Meta-Quartzite, an extremely durable and colorfast stone.  The quarry produces all of our boulders, crushed ground covers, flagstone, and cleave.

Our factory located in Jean, is where we cut and polish blocks from our quarry into slabs and other materials.   Each slab is defined by its unique geological make up, beautiful color and veining.

 Aquarius Stone Products manufactures engraved stone signs and monuments.  Our meta-quartzite stone is a wonderful medium for engraving.      

Las Vegas Rock has achieved a Cradle to Cradle silver certificate.  We make every attempt to minimize our global footprint and to use 100 % of the material that we extract from our quarry.  Anyone who is building “Green” or involved in a LEED project can benefit by using our materials and gain additional advantages by our Cradle to Cradle Certification.
