Las Vegas Rock, a Nevada Corporation, was formed in May 1991 to produce and distribute unique decorative stone and related products. The stone is quarried at The Rainbow Quarries near Goodsprings , Nevada , about thirty-two miles south of Las Vegas at the base of Mount Potosi .

The Rainbow Quarries were established in the Goodsprings Mining District in the 1930's and it encompasses an area of 940 acres consisting of the main quarry, covering 50 acres, and multiple smaller satellite quarries, each providing stone that is unique in color. Our colors include pink, rainbow, rainbow gold, burgundy, and peaches & cream.

The stone produced is striated Meta-Quartzite, an extremely durable stone that can have a natural, split face, honed, or polished finish. Our Meta-Quartzite is a unique natural stone that can be used in many applications such as: ground cover, decorative boulders, stone veneer, planting soil, walkways, water features, engraved signs, furniture, counter tops and tiles that can be used in interior and exterior designs.
