Nuwu Pahsats (“The People’s Garden”) is the largest botanical garden space at Springs Preserve, created to preserve and share the language, lifeways, and traditional ecological knowledge of the Southern Nevada Paiute people. Developed in consultation with members of the Nuwuvi Language Group, the garden integrates culturally significant native plants, heirloom crops, and interpretive elements that highlight everyday language, land stewardship, and sustainable relationships with the desert environment.
